Hard or kind? The coach's voice
Oithere's coach is blunt, and it is on your side. Why we chose a voice that tells you the truth instead of one that soothes.
Why Oithere talks to you
A notification gets swiped away before you read it. A voice reaches you mid-scroll. That is why your coach speaks out loud.
A nudge is not a block
Blockers lock doors. A coach asks you a question. After sustained unrelated activity, Oithere speaks up once, then lets you decide.
When the evidence is unclear
A good coach picks their moments. Oithere speaks only when it is reasonably sure. Silence is part of the design.
